Attitudes of Agricultural Extensionists Towards the Extension Training program of Intercropping cotton on wheat in Minia Governorate.

ABSTRACT
The Intercropping approach is one of the important farming systems for increasing the yield per feddan and crops intensification . Intercropping cotton crop on wheat crop model is considered an important one of the important farming systems in Minia and it was important to have the extensionists aware about this approach through inservice training program.
Therefor The main purpose of this study fowsed mainly on eliuting the respondents attitudes towards the inservice training program for Intercropping cotton crop on wheat crop The second purpose was to onalyse the relationships that existed between selected background variables and respondents attitudes towards this training program and its elements The third purpose was to option the respondents opinions concerning their gain from this program.
The population of interest in this study was Minia extensionists who attended this training program.
A random sample of 180 respondents were selected for inclusion in this investigation.Data were collected using a questionnaire form via personal interviews . Collected data were

tabulated and analyzed using, mean , standard deviation, person product correlation, and one-way analysis of variance.
The result of the study revealed the following :
First: it was found that, about 50% of the respondents have strong positive attitudes towards the overall program, the trainers, and the trainees evaluation techniques.
(b) one-third of the respondents have strong positive attitudes towards the training place.
(c) two- third of the respondents have strong positive attitudes towards the training program, contents and time-schedule of activities.
Second : the respondents gains was high and the level of the respondents gain differs according to the number of training sessions offered to the respondents.
Third:
A) there were significant relationships between the respondents attitudes towards overall program , and place method and evaluation techniques and the independent variable namely number of training sessions.
b) there were significant relationships between the respondents attitudes towards the training place and the respondents family origin.
c) there were significant relationships between the respondents attitudes towards the training time schedule and number of working years in extension.
Fourth : based on the result of this investigation six recommendations were suggested for improving the in-service training program of intercropping cotton crop on crop system in Minia
